Vinyasa yoga is also known as “flow.” Often fast-paced and energetic, vinyasa classes build heat in the body as practitioners flow from one pose to the next, each movement initiated by an inhalation or exhalation of breath. Vinyasa offers an opportunity to explore the edge of your strength and stamina through awareness of your own body in a noncompetitive atmosphere. Open to all practitioners regardless of experience, age, gender, flexibility, or fitness.
Power Vinyasa classes will encourage you to go beyond physical and mental boundaries. Designed to be a challenging workout, as well as a means to relaxation, you will move with your breath through a powerful sequence of flows and strengthening poses. This class is a fun and unique practice that incorporates ballet barre technique and yoga movements performed on the mat, interspersed center floor movement & cardiovascular training, to create a low impact, cardiovascular and strength training practice that tones and sculpts. It is a super-fun cross-training practice that promotes balance, flexibility, and artistic expression. Barre & Flow classes will not only quickly transform your body, but also clear your mind and help you focus. Wear free-movement clothes, and bare feet. If you like to groove…COME MOVE!
